At PACES, we approach each child as an individual with their own talents and one-of-a-kind needs. We consider it a privilege to take care of your child and we will strive to do our very best to see they are loved, respected, and happy, and that you, as the parent, are satisfied.
WE PROMISE TO PROVIDE
OUR GROUP LEADERS
Our dedicated Group Leaders at PACES create an ideal environment where your child can find a balance between homework and quality time with friends. They recognize the significance of their role in your child's growth and development. Our focus is on providing a welcoming atmosphere where students feel at ease, fostering confidence and social bonds.
QUALITY AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Each child will have fun in a comfortable, bully-free zone, where he/she can spend time with friends, do fun, engaging activities, and work on homework so you have more time as a family at home.
PACES believes that children will develop a strong sense of self in a comfortable, safe environment. In order to do that, our staff works with each individual child to ensure that they are happy and feel important each day. Our staff monitors social situations daily to ensure that children are not being bullied or pressured into activities they are not comfortable. We will not tolerate inappropriate language or behavior toward another child or staff member. We will work hard to help children learn the tools to good, positive communication, as well as how to successfully work through conflicts that may arise.

Upon arrival, all students will receive a nutritional snack that meets the USDA standards. Children will be divided into groups (based on their age) and will have opportunities for planned indoor/outdoor activities, time to work on homework, as well as down-time to socialize with their peers. Each week our Group Leaders will implement a lesson plan with teacher directed and child-directed activities in Arts & Crafts, Science, Reading, Music, & Sensory activities. We also see the importance in physical activity, & children will have opportunities to spend time outdoors participating in gross motor activities, group games, & sports activities.
Each of our groups is led by a Group Leader, who is qualified and trained in caring for school-age children. They are CPR & 1st Aid certified and have been trained in Playground Safety as well as Discipline and Behavior Management. They recognize and understand the unique qualities that school-age children possess and they have the skills needed to nurture and grow these young minds.
